No idea how goodies from Uncle Joe's Farm Market ended up at Bryn Athyn Bounty a couple weeks ago, no idea if they are coming back, but John & I were deeeeelighted to discover that Uncle Joe's really exists, with even more decadent yums in their country-comes-to-Lower Bucks location on Mearns Road in Warminster.
Now, a regular weekly stop.Their sticky buns are my all-time-favorite (sorry, Mom & Peb), John loves the Snickerdoodles, my vegetarian soul is sorely tried by their ready-to-bake chicken pot pie (which is expensive enough to be truly credible). Doing my best to not even think about their chili & pulled pork. Early season tomatoes are gorgeous.
John is ready to start a Judy Dautcher Fan Club - what a baker! She does for pies & cookies & sticky buns what BA Bounty's Beth Orthwein Lawling does for quiches & scones - takes them over the top!
Next visit - peach pie & butter cake!
Totally hooked!
