Having already written two postings on my unexpected ENTJ Myers-Briggs designation, a lot of ground has already been covered. But it was good to read over both of them, to remember some key points about myself that are easy - for me - to forget.
At this moment in time, am going to satisfy myself with reviewing the core personality traits of ENTJs:
- Assertive, innovative, long-range thinkers
- Excellent abilities to translate theories and possibilities into solid plans of action
- Tremendously forceful, with the tools to accomplish their goals
- Not naturally tuned into other people's feelings, although they often have strong sentimental streaks
- Prone to make value judgments & hold onto submerged emotions which can be ill-founded & cause them sometimes serious problems
- Love interacting with people, enjoying lively, challenging conversations
- Respect people who argue persuasively for their own point of view (unfortunately, most don't, due to an ENTJ's forceful & dynamic presence)
- Self-confident, with excellent verbal communication skills
- Decisive
- Quick to verbalize opinions & decisions
- Live in a world of possibilities where they see all sorts of challenges to be met, and they want to meet them
- Natural born leaders
Gives a lot to ponder, to recognize, address & build on.
