... that any species who can bask in the sun should be left to be happy sunbathers.
... that any species that permanently cages other species for any reason other than dire danger might be human but not humane. They have the physical attributes of human beings without the heart & soul.
... that sugar is a drug.
... that nothing's killed to make dairy products & eggs available for human consumption.
... that the eggs & dairy products available in grocery stores are from chickens & cows raised in conditions that would make strong men puke.
... that the only way to guarantee eggs & dairy products are from truly humanely raised chickens & cows is to buy them at the source. Labels lie, or twist the truth.
... it is tough beyond imagination to accept the difficult, to work through dis-ease & discomfort, through lethargy & weariness. And that's the only way for some folks - folks like me - to make the life changes that beckon.
... that humans screwed the pooch when we turned from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to agrarian. Manipulating nature to meet our needs was the game changer. The hand we're playing now was dealth many millennia ago.
