sigh...
amazed at how many people stlll don't get it, no matter how hard i try
to explain. i don't care. i am not invested in politician being our
last great hope or that private citizen being the devil incarnate. i
try to limit comments to what i can quantify.
alas, precious little - the ratio of what we know to what we don't is downright piddly, yet act as if we KNOW it all. my great passion is clear thinking. as clear as possible. i loathe emotional reactions that defend where no one is being attacked, who value gut feelings over facts. i am have been & always will be an equal opportunity offender.
i think of what david holm said, every time he entered my classroom to teach religion - "stand up for the truth." alas, truth is not as absolute as we'd like to think. and therein lies the challenge....
